great video, for some reason flashing the firmware only worked for me after pressing the button close to the CB1 socket.

for manta m8p board with cm4. we have 2 options can use external memory card and create hard drive on cm4 right?

I connected the USB to my computer then opened rpi but it didn't create a new hard drive. I see you connect HDMI to the board, where is the rest connected?

Thanks for this. I've just installed the CB2 into my Manta M5P. I gave up trying to follow the manual and had nothing but trouble with the BalenaEtcher.

This really is the very worst video ever. If you are 'not sure' about lots of stuff then you should study the material rather than to produce a video with a whole pile of forward references and errors in it.

Great video. I recently upgraded my original Ender 3 main board to a BTT SKR Mini E3 V2.0. The printer runs so much quieter now. The issue / problem I am having now is that my computer no longer recognizes, nor can it find / locate my Ender 3, so I am unable to communicate / control the Ender 3. ANy thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My Ender 7 end stops dont have them metal things from factory... i tough you broke them when checking them :) Well my 250$ Ender 7 now has an Manta E3EZ, CM4 4/32, LDO X and Y, 2xEZ5160RGB, 2xEZ2209 and a REAL Meanwell 350W that i molested by putting in a 80cm Noctua :P Original it had a "Creality "Clone" but that has a 24v fan in it. (And i got all if it working watching your video's :P ) printed about 6 spools with it. PLA and PETG...

Well put two 5160RGB's in my board.. did not get it to work, came back here. and they worked. did need to remove the ! from the direction since both X and Y where reversed from my EZ2209's

Love your tutorials. I have a 2 in/ 1 out extruder . When your setting p the 2 extruders in Klipper, it shares the thermistor with the hot end fan and bother extruders, which gives an error that it has been used already. I get the same problem when setting up the hot end heating element with the dual extuders, and again I get an error that it has been used already. Iam running a M8P BTT board ith a CB@ on a machine that started off as a TRONXY VEHO 1000 2E. I have asked Kipper discourse and have never received an answer except fo send the klippy file next time.

I want to use this board with an external Stepper driver (3DM580S) for my 3-phase stepper motors. Will this board work for that particular setup?

Hey Ed, I have a CB2 with an OS already installed, and I want to flash a new OS via SD card. I tried following the erasing process in the manual, but it didn't work. Should I hold the SW1 switch so the eMMC will not boot? Thanks!

Ever notice that when some thing goes wrong it's usually something stupid small. Been lucky enough to not have this happen yet, but am waiting on it. Thank you for mentioning the G code for testing end stops. That is most useful, thank you.

Thanks Ed. I was ripping my hair out trying to get the ez5160 sensorless homing working. Yes, you are correct the pin define is incorrect from BTT docs. Ouch. You did it correctly. Although the Klipper docs do say to use the pullup resistor ^ as well. I am not sure its needed. Maybe on reboot so it stays high? Thanks again, I find your videos super easy to follow and you take alot of time to do so. Appreciated and respects. Keep them coming please.

Thank you for posting this. I have V2.2 of the M4P and it didn't change from this video. The only thing that was different was the firmware.bin file did not change to FIRMWARE.CUR. Everything else seems normal. I saw someone else mentioned that in the comments below. Maybe it's just a Marlin thing.

Hi, i followed your instruction here but after i insert the sdcard nothing seem happened. I use raspberry pi imager but always got verify failed. I use other like belena and rufus but seem nothing happened either. I cannot detect the IP address. CB1 is green. What could possibly wrong?

Copying `klipper.bin` to the SKR2's SD Card can be done on the RPi. Just put the SD Card into the USB adapter as was shown in the video, but then plug into the RPi and mount the drive. Don't forget to rename the `klipper.bin` to `firmware.bin` as per the config file text. If you need help mounting the USB adapter on the RPi, google something like `mount usb raspberry pi` for help.

Just a clarification; `sudo apt update` simply updates the OS list of packages and compares to what is installed. Following up with `sudo apt upgrade` actually updates the pacakges/software. That just makes sure that things are up to date in terms of package versions etc so that when the Klipper script runs it is getting the right packages. It's not "grabbing information", it's actually downloading and installing the packages needed to compile Klipper for the SKR2.

Bigtreetech should be paying you for the outstanding job you are doing with explaining how to hookup and use the SKR Pro V1.2. These boards can be very confusing without your tutorials. I used you videos to help me upgrade a Monoprice MP10, the larger version 300x300 from an 8 bit proprietary board to the SK pro V1.2
